Broad appointed match referee for DLF Cup

Dubai: The ICC on Monday appointed Chris Broad as the match referee for the tri-nation DLF Cup featuring India, Australia and West Indies in Malaysia.

Broad, a member of the Emirates Elite Panel of ICC Match Referees, will oversee the entire seven-match series to be played in Kuala Lumpur from September 12 to 22.

Mark Benson and Asad Rauf from the Emirates Elite Panel of ICC Umpires and Tony Hill from the Emirates International Panel have been appointed to fulfil the on-field and third umpire duties, an ICC release said here. — UNI
