Sharath Kamal to lead

KOLKATA: A. Sharath Kamal will lead a four-member Indian team for the Volkswagen Open table tennis tournament to be held in Singapore from September 7 to 10. Other players to take part in the premier meet of the pro-tour circuit are National champion Subhajit Saha, Arjuna Soumyadeep Roy and Pathik Mehta. Dipak Halder is the coach.

Both Sharath and Roy entered the semifinals of pro-tour events in Brazil and the U.S., while Saha reached the quarterfinals. — Principal Correspondent
