NEW DELHI: Damodar Sarangi, a senior IPS officer of the 1972 batch of West Bengal cadre, has been appointed Director-General (Investigation), National Human Rights Commission, official sources said here on Monday.

Mr. Sarangi is at present the Additional Director-General, Border Security Force.
