BHEL (EPD) blanks HMT

Bangalore: Thyagu's brace helped BHEL (EPD) defeat HMT 5-0 in a State `B' division football league match here on Monday.

Dakshina Murthy, Gopi and Naval Kumar also scored for the victor. BHEL (EPD) entered the semifinals and will clash with Universal here on September 7.

In the first semifinal on September 6, Sree Gajanana will take on Thilak Memorial. Tuesday is a rest day.
