Falcon cable through Gulf to go live today

NEW DELHI: Reliance Communications-owned Falcon undersea cable connecting five Middle East countries as well as Sudan and Egypt will be operational from Tuesday, unleashing international bandwidth between India, Middle East and Europe. Union IT and Communications Minister Dayanidhi Maran will make the first call that will mark the commencement of commercial operation of the cable.
