BSNL, resuming at 133 for four, was bowled out for 225 in 37.3 overs. Monish Misra (69, 70 balls, 4x4, 1x6) and Sanjeev Rana (31, 34 balls) were the main contributors. After a dressing down from the coach and former Ranji star Abdul Azeem, the local team improved its performance. Medium-pacer Alfred Absolom, who claimed four for 108 to complete a match-haul of ten wickets, was ably supported by M.P. Arjun. Ranji star D. Vinay Kumar (17 not out, 2x 4) and Abhinav guided the host to an emphatic win after Ravi was caught behind while trying to free his arms.
