JJCET makes final

CUDDALORE: JJ College of Engineering and Technology (Ammapettai) defeated AVC Engineering College (Mayiladuthurai) 29-12, 29-12 and entered the final of the Anna University zone-8 ball badminton tournament at Thozhudur on Monday.

The results: Semifinals: JJ CET bt AVC EC 29-12, 29-12; Jayaram EC bt MAM CE 29-8, 29-4. Quarterfinals: JJ CET bt Saranathan EC 29-4, 29-11; AVC bt Anjalaiammal Mahalingam College 29-11, 29-11; MAM bt Sri Angalaman College 27-29, 29-16, 29-22; Jayaram EC bt Dr. Navalar Nedunchezhiyan CE 29-12, 29-12.
