Pondicherry: With the Pondicherry University not having granted affiliation to 17 colleges offering B. Ed courses here for the academic year 2006-2007, the Centralised Admission Committee (CENTAC) has announced that there would be no counselling of students for admission to the one year B. Ed course on the dates announced recently. The committee had earlier scheduled to hold counselling from September 6 to 9. The university has informed that affiliation would be sanctioned shortly after inspection the institutions. A release from the coordinator of the counselling wing, CENTAC for B.Ed course, said on Monday that the fresh dates would be intimated to the candidates as soon as intimation was available from the university about the affiliation of these institutions.
