Erode: The sound of clicks fascinates him. The mouse attracts him. Aged three, Lamin Muhammed of Periya Agraharam here spends more time with computer than with toys. Straight from bed, he begins his day operating the computer of his parents. It was by coincidence that his mother Suhaina Muzhar found out Lamin's liking for the machine. One day she noticed that the desktop was changed. At first she thought her daughter or husband might have changed it. Later, when she asked Lamin he admitted that he did so. He was just two years and three months then. Pleasantly surprised, she took him to a psychiatrist, who said the boy was quite normal and his talent should be encouraged. Then she taught him the preliminaries of operating the computer. A compact disc with 40 nursery rhymes was installed in the computer and the list was shown in the index. If you want to play a particular rhyme, he will click the right choice without hesitation, thanks to his memory power. Lamin is also operating visual basic and photoshop. With this he draws and paints. Lamin could not be admitted to school since he completed three years only in August. But in recognition of his talent, the Erode Hindu Kalvi Nilayam Matriculation School has admitted him to LKG. And without charging any fee.
