YSR leaves for Delhi to attend NSC meeting

Hyderabad:
Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy left for New Delhi on Monday evening to participate in the meeting of the National Security Council to be presided by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.
The meeting to be attended by Chief Ministers of all States will review internal security of the country. Dr. Reddy told reporters before leaving for Delhi that he would explain the steps taken by the State Government to contain left-wing extremism and activities of the Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence in Andhra Pradesh.
To meet Manmohan
Dr. Reddy who could not meet the Prime Minister in the last visit is planning to seek an appointment with Dr. Manmohan Singh. Chief Secretary J. Harinarayan and the political advisor of the Chief Minister, K.V.P. Ramachandra Rao, accompanied the Chief Minister. He would return to the State Capital on Tuesday evening.
