In a related development, the Chief Minister has also written to Union Urban Development Minister Jaipal Reddy on the sealing and demolitions issues, seeking their resolution to the satisfaction of one and all. "I have written to Mr. Reddy and am in touch with all the people concerned to work out a solution and prevent displacement of lakhs of people," Ms. Dikshit told reporters here.

It is learnt that Ms. Dikshit met Ms. Gandhi at her 10 Janpath residence on Monday morning. The meeting lasted around 30 minutes. The meeting comes against the backdrop of intensified drive against illegal structures and closure of commercial establishments in residential areas.
