Chargesheet filed in Aurangabad arms case

MUMBAI:
The Anti Terrorist Squad (ATS) of the Mumbai police on Monday filed a chargesheet in the Aurangabad arms haul case, ATS Chief K. P. Raghuvanshi said. Overall the ATS seized 16 AK-47 rifle, 43 kg RDX, 3,200 ammunition rounds and 50 hand grenades during the operation after they first intercepted a vehicle near Aurangabad on May 9, 2006 and arrested three persons.
Mr.Raghuvanshi said all the accused have been booked under the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA), Arms Act, Indian Explosives Act and Unlawful Activities Prevention Act (UAPA).
