Bangalore: Police on Monday conducted simultaneous raids on 64 branches of C.D. Infotainment Limited all over the State. The company has been accused of unauthorised running of online lottery. According to Joint Commissioner of Police (Crime) Gopal B. Hosur, the server of the illegal online lottery network was traced to a building in IISc. Colony, Tata Nagar in Hebbal police station limits. The company had taken permission from the IT Department stating that it was into advertisement and computer awareness programmes. However, it was running online lottery on the lines of some established online lotteries, Mr. Hosur told The Hindu . The police arrested Managing Director of the company T.N. Lakshminarasimha and directors Munireddy, C. Kishore and Gurumurthy. In addition to that company's 16 branches in Bangalore, raids were conducted in Hubli and Mangalore and Udupi, Uttara Kannada, Mandya and Mysore districts.
