Pallam Raju reviews status of BEML projects

BANGALORE: Minister of State for Defence M.M. Pallam Raju on Tuesday visited the public sector Bharat Earth Movers Ltd. (BEML). BEML Chairman and Managing Director V.R.S. Natarajan showed him around the factory units here, in KGF and Mysore. The Union Minister reviewed the status of various projects undertaken by BEML for the defence and the Metro Rail. The infrastructure developed to roll out products for the construction and mining industry attracted his attention. He appreciated the role played by BEML as an interface between the Defence and civilian markets.
