ALAPPUZHA: Chief Minister V.S. Achuthanandan had a quiet Onam at his home Velikkakath House, Paravoor, here on Tuesday. Mr. Achuthanandan arrived at his home along with his family members on Monday night. He said he used to celebrate Onam here in the past also. ``I used to come here during Onam even when I was the Leader of the Opposition,'' he said. Close relatives and friends of the Chief Minister shared Onam with Mr. Achuthanandan.
