TATA AIG's bancassurance pact

BANGALORE: Tata AIG Life Insurance Company Ltd. and Tata AIG General Insurance Company Ltd. on Tuesday announced the beginning of their strategic comprehensive partnership with Sangli Bank Ltd., one of the oldest private sector banks in Western Maharashtra. Under this alliance, Sangli Bank will make the wide range of Tata AIG (Tata AIG Life and Tata AIG General) insurance products and services available to its customers through its network of 189 branches across India, says a press release.
