Rajahmundry: Andhra Pradesh Aided Temporary Lecturers' Association staged a rally, rasta roko and dharna half-naked on Tuesday in protest against the government's `negligent' attitude in solving their long-pending demands. Led by association State secretary P.V.B. Sanjeeva Rao, they took out a rally from VT College to Y. Junction. Later, they formed into a human chain disrupting traffic for more than half-an-hour. Later, they assembled near Anam Rotary Hall and removed their shirts and burnt them. Speaking to reporters after the rally, Mr. Sanjeeva Rao accused the government of going for privatisation on a big scale. He demanded immediate filling of vacant posts in aided colleges.
