BANGALORE: At least three youths, who were watching the Indian cricket players practising at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) here, were injured after the wire fence on which they were perched collapsed on Tuesday. The Cubbon Park police said Manjunath (23) suffered a head injury and was rushed to Bowring Hospital. He was treated as an outpatient, they said.

Unable to bear the weight of the nearly half-a-dozen people who were perched on it, the railing collapsed around 1 p.m. Three of them who fell on their back, were injured, the police said.

Six senior India players, including Rahul Dravid and Sachin Tendulkar, were practising at the NCA at Chinnaswamy Stadium as part of the cricket skill camps that are being held in batches.
