Call for India-EU free trade pact

MUMBAI: David Cameron, leader of the British Conservative Party, on Tuesday called for an India-European Union free trade agreement (FTA), and said entry barriers were still high in India in sectors like insurance, legal services, banking and retailing. He said India's share of Britain's overseas investment in 2004 was a merely 0.5 per cent and of British exports one per cent.
