NEW DELHI: Dheeraj and Manik played well to pilot Hindu College past Zakir Hussain College 61-55 in the league phase of the 32nd St. Stephen's invitational basketball tournament on Tuesday. In the semifinals, host St. Stephen's College will take on its Alumni while Hindu will play Hansraj College. In the women's section, St. Stephen's will play Gargi College while Jesus and Mary will clash with Indraprastha. The results: Men: St. Stephen's 52 (Swapnil Sharma 19, Rohit Oberoi 17) bt Kirorimal College 29 (Pawandeep 10); St. Stephen's Alumni 79 (Sandeep Singh 24, Vishal Sangwan 16) bt Ramjas College 31; Hindu College 61 (Dheeraj 24, Manik 18) bt Zakir Hussain College 55 (Mahesh 20, Ashish 15).
