City takes lead

CHENNAI: City took the first innings lead against Combined Districts on day two of the three-day tie in the under-15 tournament for the R. Venkatachalam Trophy.

The scores: Combined Districts 123 in 95.2 overs (R. Rohit 33 n.o., R. Saravanakumar three for 32) and 23 for one in 21 overs vs. City 163 in 83.3 overs (Athreya M. Mukundan 40, C. Yashwanth 30, R. Aushik Srinivas three for 41, B. Aparajith three for 30, I. Wahid Khan three for 18).
