Sonia Gandhi to visit Kadapa

KADAPA: UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi will visit Kadapa and Brahmamgari Matham on September 27.

Ms. Gandhi will arrive here at 11.20 a.m. by helicopter from Tirupati and will meet public representatives and party workers for 10 minutes, according to the tentative tour programme released on Tuesday. Thereupon, she will inaugurate Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences at 11.30 a.m. and visit RIMS hospital from 11.40 a.m. to 12 noon.

The UPA chief will address a public meeting at Kadapa Municipal Stadium from 12.10 p.m. and will leave by helicopter for Brahmamgari Matham at 1.10 p.m. She will release water from Telugu Ganga project at 1.30 p.m. After a 50-minute reserved programme, she will leave Brahmamgari Matham at 2.30 p.m. for Kurnool.
