The spirit of Kerala celebrated in Bangalore city

IT SPEAKS a lot for the increasingly cosmopolitan demography of our city, and especially its large population of hardworking citizens of Kerala origin. Onam "santhes" have been set up different parts of the city, especially the eastern quadrant where many Malayalees live.

Along with the typical Kerala saris and "mundus," there are all the vegetables and flowers and other articles considered a must for the festival. It is worth noting that packets or ready to cook "palade prathaman" are also on the shelves of some supermarkets. Onam incidentally is a festival Keralites of all communities celebrate.
