Coimbatore college bags first prize in poster competition

The State Resource Centre (SRC) for non-formal, adult and continuing education has chosen three best posters from 200 entries to the poster competition held in connection with the International Literacy Day celebrations slated for September 8.
The main theme of the poster campaign was "promotion of female literacy", an SRC release said here on Tuesday.
The first prize was bagged by Avinashilingam Deemed University, Coimbatore.
The second prize went to the entry submitted by Alagappa University, Karaikudi, and the third prize to the entry submitted by Kumara Raja Muthiah Boys Higher Secondary School, Chennai, respectively.
The poster selected for the first prize would be printed and released at a function to be held in Tiruvannamalai on September 8, the release said.
