Cultural programmes to mark Onam celebrations

Maithri, a socio-cultural organisation of Malayalees in the twin cities is conducting its 11th Onam and anniversary celebrations on September 10 at Jayalaxmi Gardens, Secunderabad. The day-long event, starting from 10 a.m., will have a music programme by playback singer Biju Narayan, mimicry by Suraj Venjaramoodu and team and a Koodiyattam performance by Kalamandalam Sivan Namboodiri apart from an Onam feast. Hall tickets despatched

Hall tickets for the written examination for the post of junior civil judge to be held on September 24 have been sent to the district and sessions judges concerned. Candidates have to collect these from the presiding officers concerned where they are practicing, affix passport-size photographs on the original and duplicate tickets, get them attested by the presiding officer and return the duplicate tickets to them immediately, according to a High Court release.

NIMS to conduct free arthritis camp

Parks closed

HUDA parks in the Buddha Purnima region, including the T. Anjaiah Lumbini Park, Laserium, NTR Garden and Sanjeevaiah Park will be closed to the public on Wednesday on account of immersion.
