Nod for Mulavukad road

Staff Reporter

KOCHI: The State Government has given the nod to develop the existing road in Mulavukad into a seven-metre wide tarred road, K.V. Thomas, MLA, said.

The Goshree Island Development Authority had readied a project for the purpose.

The cost would be Rs 10 crores.

The Chief Minister's nod was the sole requisite for work to begin, he said. Those who surrendered land for the road-widening work, especially those who possessed less than 10 cents of land, would be given fair compensation.
