Programme on renewable energy

HYDERABAD:
The sixth national-level training programme on renewable energy for media persons would be held at the Administrative Staff College of India (ASCI) here on September 8 and 9.
The programme, being organised by the World Institute of Sustainable Energy (WISE), would cover key technologies, relevance of clean development mechanism, power sector reforms, biofuels, biomass power, solar and wind energies.
Experts from the Ministry of Non-Conventional Energy Sources (MNES), Non-Conventional Energy Development Corporation of AP (NEDCAP), Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, Aurobindo Ashram, CII-Godrej Green Business Centre, among others, would participate. K.Swaminathan, Chairman, Andhra Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission, would inaugurate the programme.
