The Vice-President, Dr. S. Radhakrishnan, turned 68 on September 5. The President, Dr. Rajendra Prasad, and Prime Minister Nehru were among the earliest to call at his residence to greet him on his birthday. Cabinet Ministers, MPs, high ranking officials and leading citizens of Delhi also called on the Vice-President.
