CASP is a national voluntary organisation, set up with the objective of sponsoring the education of needy, underprivileged and deprived children. The Rajagiri-CASP sponsorship supported more than 4,200 children through various sponsors. The project was celebrating 2006-07 as its silver jubilee year. The celebrations would be inaugurated by Minister for Fisheries S. Sarma, Fr. Jose Alex and M.P. Antony, chairperson and project manager, respectively, of Rajagiri-CASP, said at a press conference here. The CASP programme started at the college in 1982. The association with CASP enabled the college to update the quality and volume of the services provided under the scheme.
