Fines and suspensions

MYSORE: The following are the fines and suspensions announced after the races held here on Aug. 31.

In the Paddock Plate (1,200m), R. Biramne, rider of Grace And Faith and A. R. Mani, rider of Gunmaster, were fined Rs.1,000 each for causing interference to Vivek, who was astride Get Gorgeous approaching the 1,000m.

In the Bangalore Plate (1,100m), P. Mani, rider of Princess Destiny, was fined Rs.1,000 for causing interference to Executive Grey approaching 350m.

In the H. H. Sri Jayachamaraja Wadiyar Memorial Gold Cup (1,600m), Deep Shanker, rider of Absolute Dominance, was fined Rs.1,000 for the excessive use of whip (first infringement) on his mount during the race.

In the Agumbe Plate (Div. II) (1,400m), the Stewards of the Mysore Race Club have suspended Rajesh Babu, rider of Sense Of Style from riding from Sept. 11 to 15 (both days inclusive) for riding an injudicious race.

In the Srirangapattana Plate (Div. I) (1,200m), G. Manikandan, rider of Polar Wolf, was fined Rs.1,000 for the excessive use of whip (first infringement) on his mount during the race.

On Sept. 1, in the Esquire Plate (Div. II) (1,200m), Sunil Singh, rider of Azraff, was fined Rs.2,000 for not making sufficient effort to improve his position till entering the straight and for allowing his mount to drift out in the last 300m.

In the Nandi Plate (1,200m), V. Gharat, rider of Driven, was fined Rs. 2,000 for not making sufficient effort to improve his position till entering the straight.

In the Esquire Plate (Div. I) (1,200m), Gajender Singh, rider of Chocolate River, was fined Rs.1,000 for allowing his mount to travel wide in the early part of the race for no apparent reason.

F. K. Shahbuddin, rider of Nalwa, was fined Rs.1,000 for not sufficiently persevering with his mount during the race. In the Madras Race Club Cup (1,800m), Vijay R. Kadam, the declared rider of Bountiful Beauty was fined Rs.2,000 for accepting a ride without obtaining prior permission from his parent centre.

In the Ranganathittu Plate (1,600m), V. R. Jagdeesh, rider of Full Steele, was fined Rs. 2,000 for causing severe interference to Shahbuddin astride Princess Chand approaching 1,300m.

In the Mysore Million (1,400 m), P. S. Chouhan, rider of Red Eagle, was fined Rs.2,000 for causing interference to Super Speed (Suraj Narredu up) during the final stages of the race.

In the Safi Darashah Memorial Trophy (1,200m), Jayaprakash, rider of Gem was fined Rs.2,000 for not persevering with his mount during the race.

In the Shimoga Plate (1,400m), Ranjeet Singh, rider of Ecuador, was fined Rs.1,000 for allowing his mount to drift out in the last 200m.
