Two AP Express passengers robbed

Both persons found in an unconscious condition

ADILABAD: Two passengers of AP Express on Wednesday morning were robbed of their belongings, including cash, on their persons by unidentified persons who doped them to unconsiousness. This came to light after an anonymous caller alerted the Bellampalli Government Railway Police who checked the train at Bellampalli station only to find senior auditor of Hyderbad AG's office A. Harigopal Rao and another person identified by name as Pappu Verma unconscious.

The two victims are undergoing treatment at MGM Hospital, Warangal and Area Hospital Mancherial respectively. According to information, Harigopal and Pratap, auditors at AG's office Hyderabad were going to Luxettipet on official work in separate coaches and were to alight at Mancherial.

Reports said the victims were suspected to have eaten doped biscuits which were offered to them. . Other facts will come to light once the two men regain conciousness.
