UN to adopt new Accounting Standards

CHENNAI: The United Nations General Assembly has approved a financial management reform programme that calls for the adoption of International Public Sector Accounting Standards by the UN and its agencies, says an announcement by the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC), one of whose affiliates had developed the standard.
