YSR tour: Minister, MP review arrangements

Minute-to-minute programme finalised

Rajahmundry: Minister for Roads and Buildings Jakkampudi Ramamohana Rao and Member of Parliament Vundavalli Arunakumar on Wednesday reviewed arrangements for Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy's tour on September 11.

Rajahmundry MLA Rowtu Suryaprakash Rao, Eluru Range DIG C.V. Anand, East Godavari district Collector M. Subrahmanyam, Superintendent of Police B. Srinivasulu, DSP P.H.D. Ramakrishna and Municipal Commissioner C. Nagaraja Rao participated in the review meeting held at the R&B guesthouse. Later, speaking to reporters, the Minister and the MP said that minute-to-minute programme of the Chief Minister was finalised.

He would dedicate the minor irrigation project -- Surampalem - to tribals at 9.45 a.m. He would reach Rajahmundry ISKCON temple by 10.45 a.m. and inaugurate the main temple complex. He would also address State-level traders' conference.

Later, the Chief Minister would reach Kotipalli bus stand and unveil Kandukuri Veeresalingam statute. Dr. Reddy would inaugurate Vambey houses at Veerabhadranagar at 12 noon.
