Food packets distributed

Paradip (Orissa): Paradip Port Trust has distributed 3,000 food packets at Batira and Antei villages of Marsaghai block as part of the ongoing relief work to alleviate the sufferings of the flood-affected people.

Relief volunteers, led by the port's Deputy Secretary N.K. Mishra and Deputy Traffic Manager K.K. Sahoo, distributed medicines, food and drinking water.

The food was cooked at the Employees Recreation Centre, Gopabandhu Stadium, and Jawahar Guest House of PPT in view of the urgency of the situation, according to Press Relations Officer Prakash C. Mishra.
