KOLLAM: Nineteen-year-old S. Sreenath, a native of Kollam city, has set a national record in recalling random objects and his name will be entered in the Limca Book of Records - 2006. A certificate issued to Mr. Sreenath by Editor of the Limca Book of Records Vijaya Ghose says that Mr. Sreenath had recalled 125 random objects read out to him in the correct order in two and a half minutes with 100 per cent accuracy. Mr. Sreenath is a student in the Amrita Ayurveda Medical College at Amritapuri near here. It was two years ago that he began developing his memory power that too as a past time. He can accurately recall the names of 700 things read out to him. He can do it either in the order or at random. He is at ease with figures and can recall a number with 800 digits. But he does not consider himself a prodigy. He says his memory power has been developed through practice and that any one with determination can develop it.
