70-year-old businessman found murdered

NEW DELHI: A 70-year-old businessman was found murdered under highly mysterious circumstances at his Hauz Qazi residence in Central Delhi on Wednesday. The police suspect involvement of three men who were seen with him by his employee. According to the police, the murder came to light around 5 p.m. when Jai Govind, who worked as a peon at the office of Om Prakash Gupta, returned from some work and found Mr. Gupta dead. He had sustained head injuries.

Jai Govind told the police that before he left for some work in the afternoon, three men had came to the office to meet Mr. Gupta. The visitors were known to Mr. Gupta as he recognised them. "Nothing has been found missing from the spot so far," said Neeraj Thakur, the Deputy Commissioner of Police. The crime team has lifted fingerprints from the spot.
