Tapping leadership potential

The year-long training organised by Junior Chamber International (JCI) TAC Nagar to improve leadership qualities in students will come to a close on September 30.

Chamber president S. Ganesh Karthikeyan said about 5,000 school and college students were trained on how to improve the qualities embedded in them by overcoming disappointments, frustration and recklessness.

They were taught various topics such as time management, leadership skills, effective communication and human relations.

"For the next year, starting from October, we plan to train 7,500 students," Mr. Karthikeyan said.
