David Palmer regains title

CAIRO: David Palmer of Australia overcame a two-game deficit to beat Gregory Gaultier of France 9-11, 9-11, 11-9, 16-14, 11-2 and win the final of squash's World Open at the foot of the Giza pyramids on Wednesday.

Palmer, the World No. 2, captured his second World Open title after his success in 2002.

Palmer earned $20,000 while Gaultier took home $14,000. — AP
