MYSORE: Officials of the City Crime Branch have unearthed an illegal online lottery racket in the city and have arrested four persons on the charge of gambling. They have confiscated computers valued at Rs. 1.20 lakh. Sources said the officials arrested the four persons after raiding five business establishments. The police gave the names of the arrested as S. Pradeep, M. Ravi, Surendra Kumar and M. Ramesh. Criminal cases have been registered in the Saraswathipuram, Kuvempunagar, Ashokapuram and V.V Puram police stations. The raids came following the arrest of a few persons in Bangalore, who had started an online lottery company in the Sahakar Nagar area.
