MAHABUBNAGAR: The Two Town police in Mahabubnagar have busted a fake currency note gang. After being produced in court, the gang members were shifted to Chenchalguda jail on Thursday. The police arrested four members out of the five-member gang, while the kingpin of the gang is at large. The police also recovered two colour xerox machines, three ink boxes, besides some currency from their possession. On a tip off that a gang was circulating fake currency in the town, the police headed by Two Town Sub-Inspector Mohd. Afzal, ASI Nagaiah started investigating and arrested the culprits from Shasahabgutta locality. The arrested were Shaik Feroz Naqui of Gulbarga district, Mohammed Asat alias Munna, Mohammed Anwar of Mahabubnagar and Mohammed Sattar of Ranga Reddy district.
