Remanded in police custody

MANGALORE: Ebrahim Dhansey (51) alias Kevin, resident of Bristol who was arrested by the Mangalore North police on Wednesday along with Rita Kaur under the Foreigners Act, 1946 for not possessing valid travel documents such as passport, visa and registration card has been remanded in police custody till Monday evening.

B. Dayananda, Superintendent of Police, stated that Rita Kaur and her 18-month old girl child have been remanded in judicial custody.

Police are probing into the background of Ebrahim Dhansey, the SP added.
