`HCL Concert Series'

CHENNAI:
Is there a connection between carnatic music and computer technology? There apparently is, in this case. HCL Infosystems Limited, in association with The Music Academy, will present the `HCL Concert Series' for the first time in Chennai.
The IT major has been conducting the series of music and dance recitals in New Delhi - India habitat centre to be exact - for the past eight years. Ajai Chowdhry, chairman &CEO, HCL Infosystems, and N. Murali, president, The Music Academy and Managing Director, The Hindu will inaugurate the concert series at 6 p.m. on Sunday.
The inaugural function will feature a special concert by Sudha Ragunathan, who will be accompanied by M.R. Gopinath on the violin, Neyveli Skandasubramanian on the Mridangam and R. Raman on the Morsing.
Members of The Music Academy and Rasikas are welcome.
