Haksar's picture selected for display in London

Winner of several awards, photographer Sharad Haksar's `Wedding Band' portrait has been selected for a three-month-long exhibition of photographic portraits by London's National Portrait Gallery.

The picture will be on display with 59 other images from November 8 to February 18, 2007.

The 60 portraits were shortlisted from nearly 5,000 submitted by over 2,000 photographers from across the globe.
