Classical music treat

A treat is in store for lovers of classical music this weekend. Artists of national and international repute have been brought together by Samraat Club at its International Festival of Indian Classical Music to be held on Saturday and Sunday at Chowdaiah Memorial Hall.

There will be a cello concert by Saskia Haas of Holland, a disciple of flautist Hariprasad Chaurasia. A vocal concert by Gundecha Bandhu of Bhopal, veena recital by Suma Sudhindhra and a violine concert by maestro Kunnakudi Vaidyanathan will be the other highlights. K. SATYAMURTY
