Falling in line without a murmur

Generally Hyderabadis have a `chalta hai' attitude towards the civic body.

But this time around none would take it for granted, at least not the shopkeepers. The Corporation pulled down a few signboards and cleared footpaths of hawkers in the old city. And it set off a chain reaction. The terrified traders were taking out signboards themselves. And there was no protest. If the administration gets tough, things just fall in place.
