KABUL: A suicide car bombing killed at least 15 persons including two U.S. soldiers and two foreigners, and injured 29 on Friday in Kabul. The explosion, targeting a U.S. military convoy, occurred 100 metres outside the U.S. embassy, a police official told Xinhua. The blast took place three days before the fifth anniversary of the September 11 terrorist attacks in U.S. A coalition statement confirmed that two U.S. soldiers were killed and two injured in the explosion. The relatively calm Kabul has witnessed rising violence and bloodshed in the past weeks.
