TIRUPATI : A day after the CPI (M) delegation presented a memorandum to the newly appointed Chairperson of TTD Trust Board B. Karunakar Reddy demanding action on subjects which are of interest and concern to the party, it was the turn of State and district BJP leaders on Friday to present a memorandum which conformed to the party agenda. Predictably some of the main demands of the BJP delegation are: getting the Government to issue a G.O. as promised to bring all the `seven hills' around the temple situated in a radius of 330 kms under the jurisdiction of the TTD, restricting the utilisation of TTD funds only to Hindu religious and charitable purposes, banning the stay of non-Hindu employees and business persons at Tirumala, steps to save the temple and TTD properties from falling into the hands of unauthorised persons. The delegation comprising M.R. Raja, Sakam Prabhakar, Chandra Reddy, Subramanyam Yadav and others appealed to the chairman to drop the move to lay an aerial ropeway as it was against the `Agamic' principles.
