Train services cancelled

Owing to engineering repair on Ennore- Attipattu section

CHENNAI : Due to line/power block in connection with engineering work on Ennore- Attipattu section on Satruday and Sunday the following will be the pattern of train services on Chennai Central - Sullurpetta section.

The following services are fully cancelled: BG-1 Beach - Gummudipoondi local leaving Beach at 9.20 am, GM-18 and GM 28 Gummudipoondi - Mooremarket Complex locals leaving Gummudipoondi at 10.20 am and 3.15 pm respectively, and SPM -10 Sullurpetta - MMC local leaving Sullurpetta at 3.15 pm.

The following services are partially cancelled between Ennore -Gummudipoondi: MG-15 MG -17 and MG 19 MMC - Gummudipoondi locals leaving MMC at 11.35 am, 12.10 pm, and 1.10 pm respectively and GM-22 and GM-24 Gummudipoondi - MMC locals leaving Gummudipoondi at 11.35 am and 1 pm respectively.

Trains partially cancelled between Sullurpetta and Ennore: MSP- 7 and MSP 9 MMC - Sullurpeta locals leaving MMC at 10 am and 12.35 pm and SPM 8 Sullupetta - MMC local leaving Sullurpeta at 12.35 pm.

Closure of Villivakkam (West) level crossing gate: Due to maintenance work, the level crossing gate at Vilivakkam Yard (West) across Red Hills Road will be closed for road traffic from 8 pm to 6 am on September 11/ 12 and September 12/13, according to a railway press release.
