THE AFTERMATH: Anxious crowds and the police on the streets,
Malegaon:
The staff of the Wadia hospital in Malegaon, where most of the injured in the bomb blasts were brought on Friday, was struggling to cope with the crowds on the premises. Relatives of the victims were pressuring the staff to finish the post mortem examinations as many wanted to bury the dead on one of the holiest days in Islam.
The hospital was a scene of grief and chaos with relatives and patients as well as media personnel thronging the place.
An injured person.
Although Malegaon has a history of communal violence, residents seemed shocked at the incidents.
