VISAKHAPATNAM : As many as 8,234 candidates are expected to take the much awaited District Selection Committee-2006 (DSC) test for recruitment of teachers to be held on Saturday and Sunday at 36 examination centres. According to the district educational officer R. Surender Reddy, the test for recruitment of secondary grade teachers will be held on Saturday morning and for language pundits grade-II and physical education trainees in the afternoon. The test for school assistants will be held on Sunday morning. Candidates should reach the examination centre an hour before the scheduled time of the test and under no conditions would they be allowed after 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., he said. Prohibitory orders under Section 144 have been imposed at the centres. A cell has been formed at the DEO's office to help candidates in case of any difficulty.
